With as many oragnisms we study sometimes we don't have the time to go into depth on any specific species. Well here
is your chance. I would like you to design a Powerpoint slide show that describes a partciular organism. The slide show must
be a minimum of 7 slides and should include the following information:
Common Name & Scientific Name
Species Characteristics - Describe the animal body plan or distinguishing characteristics. How do I know I'm looking
at this organism?
Distribution - Where is it found worldwide?
Habitat & Habits (Niche) - What type of specific environment does it live in and what role does it play in the
ecosystem. What does it eat and how does it live? How does it hunt?
Life History - How old does it get? When is it sexually mature? How does it reproduce? Does it have any mating
rituals? Does it have any asexual reproductive strategies?
Relationship to Humans - How does this organism interact with humans? Is it a game species or a threat to people? What
is its status; threatened, or perhaps endangered?
Works Cited - I want to know where you got your information from. Be sure to cite at least three sources using MLA format.
Be sure to include lots of pictures in your slide show! You also need to provide photo credits. To properly cite a photo
you need to put the web address below it in your slide show. A hyperlink is helpful.
